Did you learn on your own or did someone teach you how to make canning goods?
I would definitely say both and several other sources. I did not have an actual person stand next to me and teaching though. I watched endless videos on various web outlets of step-by-step procedures. I even have taken a course online through The University of Georgia, Athens.

How did you first get introduced to canning food products?
I have had canning goods from friends before and it has always sparked and interest. I never pursued canning myself, mainly from self doubts and unsure how to start. For years though, deep down I always want to start canning my own foods.

Where do you get your recipes and do you give them out?
I get my recipes from several places. Some friends give them and let me use. Some I find all over the net that are free. Some I have my own family recipes and are kept secret. For now, no I do not share the recipes, mainly because of rights issues. So to prevent any legal issues, I will NOT release recipes, sorry. With recipes I received permission to use, I always put my own spin to make them unique and different from the original. In short I use other recipes that are not my own from time to time as a guide to come up with better and improved recipes.

What is the most important aspect to you concering your customers?
That is a tough one to answer, so many areas to choose from from. For me, two things stick out the most. First, making the freshest and safest food product possible. When canning, dehydrating, freezing, special care has to be taken. This will insure a top notch food product and be safe for consumption at the time food is used. The food product needs to be fresh from first day processed to year. Second, I want the customer(s) to be completely satisfied with our food products. I want the customer(s) to have the feeling that what they have ordered is the best food and want to come back for more.

Do you allow customers to ask you questions about your food products?
Of course, I actually encourage it. What better way to know our company and what we can offer, than to ask questions. We will answer all that we can without indulging in our secrets of our recipes. This means we will answer questions about what ingredients we may/may not use. However inside secret ingredients will remain a secret, sorry its our trade secret.

How do you plan to use questions customers ask?
I will use questions customers ask as a guiding tool. Questions customers ask can steer you into a better direction as long as questions are constructive. Questions that are not so constructive, means there are areas needing attention. Some questions with permission from the customer, name excluded, will be used here in our FAQ page.

In your About page, you mentioned plans for the future, can you elaborate?
We would like to expand on what we can offer in the way of other preserved foods. We do not intend to venture into frozen foods. That would just be a bit much trying to come up with a delivery system for frozen foods. However, we are working on for the future to be able to offer soups, fresh uncooked and cooked vegetables, cooked meats, cooked seafood canning food products. We would like to offer Dehydrated foods of vegetables, meats and fruits.

What food products do you offer now?
For the time being, we offer simple food products, jams, jelly, sauces, salsas, and some pickled items.

Why do we not see some of the items you mention you offer now?
We are just starting out in our online adventure. As stated in our "Terms and Conditions", we do not have an extensive stock on hand. We prefer to make out food product from scratch. We have not finished going through all of our photos that we can post. More of these will be going up soon and will extend our food product list.
